Operation Art 2024
Budding young artist, Penelope Jones (KB), receives an award for her artwork in this year’s Operation Art program.
Congratulations to Bo H (2P), who competed in the Discus event at the Little Athletics NSW Zone Championships on 1 December at ES Marks Athletics Field.
Stanmore student Nathan S (5/6A) was invited to take part in the NSWPSSA Primary Rugby Union Championship as a member of the U12 Sydney East PSSA team.
Stanmore PS student, Anya Nadezhkin (2V), received the 1st Runner-Up award at the National Sky Dance Final in the Youth Category (8-12y.o.) Open Apparatus Solo.
Another set of great results for Stanmore at the Balmain Zone Athletics Carnival. The students and teachers braved the heat to compete and work at the carnival.
Congratulations to the year 4, 5 and 6 After School Drama Ensembles who performed their group devised plays at the Sydney Eisteddfod securing 1st and 3rd place awards.
Congratulations to Matteo and Mackenzie in year 6, and Maria, Carter, Sophie and Rachel in year 5 who were selected to be part of the Arts Unit Drama Ensembles for 2023.
