Primary Rugby Union Championship

We would like to congratulate Nathan in 5/6A who was selected to represent the school as a member of the Sydney East team at the State Rugby Union Championships which were held this week in Wagga. Nathan spent the week playing Rugby alongside the best players in the state.

Nathan is a keen footballer and he keeps himself busy playing in Rugby Union, Rugby League and OzTag teams.

Nathan wrote about his experience at the championship

“On Monday my Dad and I drove for five hours west to Wagga Wagga. When we arrived my dad and I went to training for the 2024 NSWPSSA Primary Rugby Union Championship. I was invited to go as a member of the U12 Sydney East PSSA side.

During the week my team played five games in total, losing only once by a single try to Sydney North. The other games were a draw with CIS, and wins against South Coast, MacKillop and Sydney West.

It was a great opportunity to play against some of the best players in the State.”
