On Wednesday, our girls’ AFL team showcased exceptional talent and determination at the AFL Gala Day held at Blackman Park.

Facing off against strong competition, the team demonstrated remarkable skill and sportsmanship throughout the day. Their efforts culminated in securing 3rd place within their group and achieving an impressive 6th place overall in the Sydney Harbour region.

This outstanding performance is a testament to the team’s hard work and dedication. Congratulations to all the players for their achievements and for representing our school with pride.

About the Paul Kelly Cup

The Paul Kelly Cup is the largest AFL primary school competition in NSW, giving young athletes an exciting opportunity to experience Australian Rules Football. Named after Sydney Swans legend Paul Kelly, the tournament celebrates his outstanding career and dedication to promoting the sport among school-aged children.

Open to primary school teams, the competition provides a fantastic platform for students to develop their AFL skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a fun and competitive environment. Schools from across the region come together to compete, fostering a love for the game while building confidence and camaraderie.

With a strong focus on participation and enjoyment, the Paul Kelly Cup continues to inspire the next generation of AFL players. Whether students are new to the sport or seasoned players, this competition offers an unforgettable experience on the field.
