Summer reading challenge
Stanmore students are inviting to join the IWC summer reading challenge. It's the perfect way for kids aged 5-12 to fill sunny days with imagination, and discovery.
When purchasing books at Better Read Than Dead in Newtown if you mention Stanmore Public School at the checkout, the store donates 10% of the value to our library towards future purchases of books.
Deb Abela will be talking about her new book “The Kindness Project”, a heartwarming story about four kids who overcome their differences and take on the world.
On Tuesday, June 20, some stage 2 and 3 students were lucky to participate in an online author talk, during their scheduled library lesson, organised through the Inner West Libraries.
This week the students in have been given certificates for participating in the Premier's Reading Challenge by listening to and discussing thirty books from the PRC list, during library lessons.
