Author Talk with Anna Ciddor

Library News

On Tuesday, June 20, some stage 2 and 3 students were lucky to participate in an online author talk, during their scheduled library lesson, organised through the Inner West Libraries.

Students listened to author Anna Ciddor discuss her new novels The Boy Who Stepped Through Time (2021) and A Message Through Time (2023).

We have purchased copies of the novels for our library and they are proving to be very popular.

Event Information:

  • Anna will reveal secrets about her writing and illustrating, including how she gets her ideas, the processes involved in her research, planning, drafts, building character, plot and setting. She might even include some ancient Roman games and fortune-telling – with a goat.
  • Anna will discuss her new middle-grade novel, A Message Through Time, a pacey and action-packed time-slip adventure.
  • Students from across the Inner West will have an opportunity to ask Anna questions in an online Q&A moderated by Inner West Library staff.

Author Bio:

Anna Ciddor has been fascinated by the past for as long as she can remember. It would be her dream come true to step through time! Instead, she immerses herself in research and digs out the tiniest details so she can bring the past to life in her imagination – and in her books.
