At Stanmore Public School we offer all our students an Instumental Music Program.
Please contact Freya Schack-Arnott (Strings) or The Music Partnership (Band) directly for any enquiries including information about private tuition.
Learn to play an instrument by joining the Stanmore Public School band program!
Learning a musical instrument not only sustains and feeds the brain, but it also improves so many other cognitive and physical aspects of the human body!
Playing an instrument is great for your memory, it’s a way to meet new friends and it’s fun!
Here is an instrument demonstration that you can view to see all the band instruments in action!
The instruments you can choose to play in band are:
$17.50 + GST = $19.25 per child, per weekly rehearsal
Private lessons run Monday-Friday, 3:00 pm onwards, on school grounds.
$45 + GST = $49.50 per ½ hour private lesson
$30 + GST = $33.00 per ½ hour paired lesson (subject to availability)
Part of being in band is also having a private music lesson on your chosen instrument. Music lessons run after school hours Monday-Friday.
We can organise instrument hire for you! Please visit our sister company Presto Instruments to rent your instrument.
To find out more and for fees please visit the Stanmore Public School page on The Music Partnership website.
