Two books you will find in our Library in 2023.

Somebody's Land: Welcome to our Country

Stage 2 AFL and Adam Goodes fanatics were keen to share his book, Somebody's Land: Welcome to our Country, that was recently donated to our Library. Adam signed the book and said he hoped families enjoyed reading it.

He is in the process of writing a series of books to help young and old understand the importance of acknowledging country and the rich cultures of the traditional custodians of the lands where we live. His new book, Ceremony: Welcome to our Country, has just been published.

Our Library

Bridget Kelly, Stanmore Public School alumni, has signed and donated a book called, Our Library, to our library! The book is written by Donna Rawlins and invites you to come into the Library where everyone is welcome.

Bridget is now an artist, and her vibrant paintings feature in the book. Find out more about Bridget and her art on her website.
