Two Stanmore teams took to the court last week at the Football NSW Futsal Schools Championships, competing in the U10 and U13 divisions.
Both Stanmore teams gave it their all against strong opposition, with the U13s making an impressive run to the semi-finals. The U10s narrowly missed out on a spot but held their own throughout the competition.
Despite limited futsal experience, our students played with determination, teamwork and great sportsmanship, proudly representing Stanmore every step of the way.
Stanmore Reds impressed with clear and convincing arguments to win their first knockout round against a strong Lewisham Public School.
