The students in our Senior Band have been diligently preparing over the past few months, and their efforts culminated in exceptional results on Sunday at the Australian School Band and Orchestra Festival, held at the University of New South Wales.
This festival not only provided our students with the thrilling experience of performing on the prestigious stage of the Sir John Clancy Auditorium, but also offered them valuable feedback from a professional music educator serving as the adjudicator.
We are proud to announce that our Senior Band earned the Silver Award.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our band conductor, Ms. Alex Bieri, whose musical expertise and unwavering commitment have been instrumental in guiding our students toward this achievement. Our gratitude also goes to our team of instrumental music tutors, whose hard work and dedication each week have been crucial to the success of our band program.
