Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking Competition

Today, four talented Stanmore Public School students took part in the Local Finals of the Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking Competition (MPPSC), held at Newton Public School.

Students from six local schools gathered to showcase their speaking skills, with 12 students competing in each stage. Stage 2 competitors delivered a 3-minute prepared speech and a 1-minute impromptu response, while Stage 3 students presented a 4-minute prepared speech followed by a 2-minute impromptu.

A special congratulations to Anna and Roisin, who were awarded a Highly Commended for their impressive speeches. All four students demonstrated confidence, thoughtfulness and poise, and should be incredibly proud of how they represented Stanmore Public School.
