Sydney East PSSA Girls’ Football Regional Championship

Balmain PSSA Girls’ Football team

Eliza Rolfe (5/6S) proudly represented Balmain PSSA as goalkeeper at the Sydney East PSSA Girls’ Football Regional Championship on Thursday, 26 June 2025, held at Kareela Oval.

The championship brought together the top 1% of players from across the Sydney East region, with 12 school sport zones and over 10,000 registered players represented. Despite being one of the youngest squads in the competition, the Balmain girls displayed exceptional sportsmanship, teamwork and determination, finishing 8th overall.

Eliza and her teammates played six games throughout the day, demonstrating impressive resilience and unity. Their ability to work together, support one another, and rise to the challenge is a testament to their dedication and love for the game.

Congratulations to Eliza and the entire Balmain squad on an inspiring performance at the regional level.
