Stanmore Public School would like to congratulate Eva from 5/6E who competed last week at the State PSSA Hockey Championships in Newcastle.
Eva was selected as a member of the Sydney East team. She displayed amazing skills in attack as she dribbled the ball up the line. Her team mates relied on her in attack as she was confident in reading the play and making passes into the circle for the team to take a shot at the goals.
This is a fantastic achievement for Eva and a nice reward for all the hard work that she puts into her sport.
Respect, responsibility, and resilience shape our school's learning and relationships. See this week's award winners.
