School Counsellor Recognition Day

School Counsellor and School Psychologist Recognition Day

School Counsellor and School Psychologist Recognition Day recognises and celebrates the unique role our school counselling service staff play in supporting students, families and schools.

On Friday 8 November 2024, we celebrate School Counsellor and School Psychologist Recognition Day.

This year’s theme, Little Moments, Lasting Change, captures the essence of the invaluable work our school counsellors and school psychologists do every day.

They have provided little moments of listening, understanding, and connecting that have supported students, families, and staff to notice their needs and strengths, persevere and grow.

The recognition day celebrates the impact school counsellors and psychologists have on students and school communities. It highlights their thoughtful and persistent efforts in navigating tough moments, often through seemingly small yet significant actions that contribute to the resilience and growth of young people.

Our school counsellors and psychologists are essential for providing students with the right support at all stages of their schooling journey.

We are grateful for our school councellor, Mr Steven Krinitzky. His skills, professionalism, and dedication to our school community are greatly appreciated.
