Congratulations Ms Eilish Wilkinson and Ms Richelle Pollack who were presented with Marrickville Network Awards this week.

At Stanmore Public School we are proud of the work of our outstanding team of teachers and we would like to congratulate two of our teachers who were presented with Marrickville Network Awards at a special ceremony last night. Congratulations Ms Eilish Wilkinson and Ms Richelle Pollack.

Early Career Teacher Award

Ms Eilish was presented with an Early Career Teacher Award. In her first full year of teaching, Eilish has demonstrated an exceptional level of dedication and professionalism. She has a strong commitment to her students' academic success and personal growth. Through her daily work, Eilish demonstrates the passion and excitement of teaching our next generation and through this she has a positive impact on students, parents and her fellow staff members.

From the start of the year, Eilish very quickly made meaningful connections with her students, understood their individual interests and needs, and supported those with additional needs with compassion. Eilish is determined to continually improve her professional practice and she is constantly willing to take on new teaching strategies that meet the needs of her students. She is a committed and collaborative team member.

Her professional maturity, dedication, and enthusiasm for teaching are evident in all aspects of her work. Eilish is a shining example of what it means to be an exceptional beginning teacher, and her contributions are deserving of this award.

Executive Award

Ms Pollack was presented with an Executive Award. Richelle is an outstanding teacher and a highly effective team leader who has consistently demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities, both as Assistant Principal and in her role as relieving Deputy Principal. She has an empathetic and supportive approach to managing teams, along with a genuine care for students, staff, and the broader community. Her warm and understanding demeanour not only contributes to a positive and inclusive atmosphere but also strengthens the collaborative spirit within our school.

Richelle’s ability to handle difficult situations calmly has earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and the community. Her leadership is marked by compassion and competence which allows her to navigate complex challenges while maintaining a supportive environment for all.

As a member of the executive team, Richelle brings invaluable contributions that enhance school operations. Her tireless efforts to support her colleagues ensure that they thrive in their roles, while her willingness to lead whole school initiatives reflects her commitment to our school’s success.
