Stage One Public Speaking

This term, Stage One students have been working to develop their confidence with speaking in front of a larger audience.

They have been learning to speak clearly, use eye contact to engage their audience, stand appropriately and use natural gestures where possible.

Linked to their PD/H focus, Year One students presented short pieces about healthy snacks while Year Two used the arcade games being made in Science as their inspiration.

Students shared their speeches with their class and two students from each class spoke in front of their grade in the library.
