City of Sydney Eisteddfod

For many of these students it was their first opportunity to perform in an eisteddfod and they did a magnificent job representing Stanmore Public School.

Each group performed an original devised play in the 12 years and under Group Devised Play section. The students had a great deal of fun and worked so well together on stage.

The year 5 group were awarded second place with their play 'Mixed Lollies'. The year 6 group were awarded third place with their play 'Zombie Apocalypse at the Eisteddfod'.

Commiserations to the year 4 group who performed their play 'Various Characters in Search of a Bomb Specialist' fabulously. The eisteddfod is always a very subjective competition but it was agreed upon by many that the year 4 group should have placed as well.
