Wellbeing Club (Term 2)

Wellbeing Club

Year 1 and 2 students had the opportunity to attend the Wellbeing Club each week in the school's garden.

During Term 2 the activities ranged from bubble blowing, reading, scavenger hunts, origami, chalk drawing and yoga.

Mrs Cannell also established some other activities in the garden for any interested students in the school. One of these activities was 'chop and chat'. Students sit around a container and chat while cutting up branches and sticks to fit into the garden waste bins. Another activity was watering. Students use watering cans to water the plants in the garden. If the timing was right, students were lucky enough to harvest some fruit and vegetables.

Stanmore Public School's garden is a great place to hang out with like-minded people and it is lovely to see the school's garden buzzing with happiness and activity.
