Iron Cove Cultural Day 2022

Last Friday, students, families and staff from Stanmore Public School attended the Iron Cove Network Cultural Day held at Orange Grove Public School.

Cultural experiences were run by the Aboriginal Cultural Workshop Team; Warradhaa. Warradhaa is the Wiradjuri language word for waratah flower. 

Students worked collaboratively and engaged in activities involving dance, art, didgeridoo, and storytelling. Thank you to Nan, Kate Tierney, Victoria Haines, Mr Hunt and Ms Stapleton for attending with our students. 

Well done to Nathan, Blake, David, Isaiah and Khloe for upholding the Stanmore Public School values and engaging so positively in the day!
