The finalists for the Young Archie 2026 competition have now been announced.
While none of our Stanmore Public School artists were selected this year, we are incredibly proud of the outstanding portraits our students submitted. The competition received thousands of entries, making it a fantastic achievement to take part.
If you have the chance, we highly recommend visiting the exhibition at the Art Gallery of New South Wales to see the artworks up close. There’s nothing quite like experiencing them in person.
Keep creating and keep painting, there’s always next year!
The Young Archie finalist artworks and honourable mentions are now available to view online and winners will be announced on 4 July 2026.
The Young Archie finalist artworks will be displayed at the Art Gallery of New South Wales and the Young Archie honourable mentions will be displayed at the SH Ervin Gallery from 9 May until 26 July 2026 and are free to view.
