Students connect through NAIDOC games

A special NAIDOC Week visit gave students the chance to learn, play and connect through traditional Indigenous games.
Our students enjoyed a fantastic NAIDOC Week experience this week, joining students from Newtown Public School for the NAIDOC Yulunga Games.
The day gave students the opportunity to learn through play as they participated in a range of traditional Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander games. Along the way, they built teamwork skills, strengthened friendships and gained a deeper appreciation of culture, respect and belonging.
The visit was also a wonderful opportunity to strengthen connections with our local school community and celebrate NAIDOC Week together. Our students represented Stanmore Public School with enthusiasm, kindness and excellent sportsmanship, embracing every activity with positive attitudes.
