Soccer team claims Grand Final victory
26 Sep 2025
Stanmore Public School’s Senior A soccer team has won the PSSA grand final, continuing our tradition of sporting success.
Congratulations to our Stanmore Senior A soccer team, who took out the Primary Schools Sports Association (PSSA) grand final today! This is a fantastic achievement and a proud moment for our school.
At Stanmore Public School, sport is an important part of student life. We offer a wide range of opportunities so that every child, from Years 3–6, can find an activity they enjoy. Students can play in our PSSA teams, competing each week against other public schools in the Balmain zone, or take part in school-based sports such as tennis, Tae Kwon Do and other fun activities.
Through sport, our students learn teamwork, resilience and fair play, skills that serve them well both on and off the field. We are proud of our strong tradition of sporting excellence, and even prouder of the way our students support one another.
Well done to our Senior A team on their grand final win 🏆
