Safer Internet Day

Safer Internet Day – Tuesday 10 February 2026 – is a global day of action dedicated to raising awareness of online safety to make the online environment safer for everyone.

Remember to always connect safely, reflect carefully and protect yourself and others when online.

With young people among the most vulnerable in today’s digital world, it is important to teach our children to be safe online. There are a range of resources available for parents and carers at  Cyber safe parents  page. This includes helpful information, webinars and resources to help families stay safe online.

There is also a great range of resources listed on protecting your information and securing devices as well as First Nations resources from the eSafety Commissioner.

What is Safer Internet Day?

Cybermarvel

The Cybermarvel program is a joint initiative of the NSW, VIC, TAS, ACT, SA and NT education departments. It takes direction from the  eSafety Commissioner’s Best Practice Framework for online safety education.  It aims to:
