Gymnastics glory for Stanmore student
06 Nov 2025
Stanmore student, Lisa Fiorini (5/6A), wins silver at the NSW State Gymnastics Junior Championships.
Congratulations to Lisa Fiorini, who competed at the NSW State Gymnastics Junior Championships last week and won a silver medal! Lisa’s dedication and hard work paid off, and we are very proud of her achievement.
Gymnastics is a fantastic way for children to build strength, coordination, and confidence. It encourages focus, discipline, and a love of movement, skills that are valuable both in and out of the classroom.
For parents interested in gymnastics for primary school-aged children, there are local clubs and programs that welcome beginners and experienced students alike. Starting gymnastics at a young age can help children develop flexibility, balance, and social skills, all in a fun and supportive environment.
Tempted to give it a go?
We celebrate Lisa’s success and encourage other students to explore the many opportunities that sports, like gymnastics, offer.
