Stanmore Kids Giving Back
19 Nov 2024
Our school principal recently received a message from the CEO of the charity Kids Giving Back about the positive impact of Stanmore students.
We are proud to share a message received by our principal, Mr. Heinecke, from Carole Schlessinger, CEO and co-founder of the charity Kids Giving Back. Carole highlighted the contributions of Stanmore students to their community through the charity's programs in recent months.
She specifically commended Zoe C-P (1C), Emily M (3S), Maeve S (5/6L), Ruby S (3M), and Sophie M (5/6L), who joined over 900 other young participants in making a meaningful impact. Together, they helped prepare more than 7,500 meals and care packs, which were distributed to 21 charities across Sydney.
Carole described the students’ efforts as "truly inspiring" and a positive reflection of Stanmore Public School’s values.
We congratulate these students and all those involved in supporting this incredible initiative. Their dedication to helping others is a great example of what it means to give back.
