Stanmore dancers take centre stage

Stanmore Dance Company wowed audiences at the In the Spotlight Dance Festival with a beautiful performance of Simplicity.
Students lit up the stage when the Stanmore Dance Company performed at The Arts Unit's 'In the Spotlight' Dance Festival on Wednesday 17 June.
The day began with a stage rehearsal at the Seymour Centre, giving students the chance to experience a professional performance environment before returning in the evening for the main event. Their dance, Simplicity, celebrated the beauty of everyday moments and the importance of finding joy in the little things.
With grace and confidence, the dancers captivated the audience and received many compliments on their performance.
Congratulations to all of our talented dancers. This performance is another wonderful example of how dedication and teamwork can lead to exciting opportunities and memorable experiences.
About The Arts Unit
The Arts Unit provides NSW public school students with access to an extraordinary range of creative opportunities that extend learning beyond the classroom.
