Stage 3 camp: Adventure, fun and teamwork
05 Sep 2025
From kayaking in the rain to building go-karts and cooking damper, Stage 3 camp was full of fun and adventure.
Dear parents and carers,
This year, stage 3 camp was at Narrabeen Sports and Recreation Centre. They enjoyed various activities such as Archery Tag and Kayaking, where the children got to paddle intensely in the torrential rain. It was a challenging but entertaining activity. In Archery Tag they would wear cool masks, while dodging arrows flying from all different directions.
Stanmore was super lucky to visit the Manly Sea Eagle’s Training Centre for Fencing. We also experienced a billi-cart workshop where we designed, built and rode go-carts through tough obstacle courses. During camp, we all contributed to making a fire and we all cooked delicious damper and enjoyed it with honey.
If that wasn't already enough, every night the camp staff would take us out to the massive gymnasium where we could do fun activities. One night we even did a mini olympics where we would get to play all different sports!
We would love to thank the staff on behalf of the school, for helping make such a magical experience, and a special thanks to Mr Nance for organising the whole event. We are all so grateful for all the parents that helped and encouraged the kids to go to camp.
