Budding young artist, Penelope Jones (KB), receives an award for her artwork in this year’s Operation Art program.
Penelope's artwork, featuring a delightful dancing ballerina, has been selected to be displayed in the Operation Art exhibition.
Her artwork will be displayed in a New South Wales art gallery next year as part of the exhibition, which showcases the creative talents of students across the state.
The Operation Art initiative, a collaboration between The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and the NSW Department of Education Arts Unit, aims to uplift and inspire through children's art.
The exhibition will tour various galleries in New South Wales, with selected pieces ultimately being gifted to the Children’s Hospital at Westmead for its permanent collection.
