Discover how the Got It! program will help Stanmore families build children’s confidence, resilience and emotional wellbeing.
Got It! comes to Stanmore Public School
Stanmore Public School is pleased to be participating in Getting on Track in Time (Got It!), an early intervention program supporting children’s social and emotional wellbeing.
Delivered in partnership with NSW Health and the NSW Department of Education, Got It! works with schools and families to help young children better understand and manage their emotions and behaviour. The program has demonstrated positive outcomes for children, parenting skills and families’ engagement with schools and community supports (NSW Health).
At Stanmore, the program will run across Term 4, 2026 and Term 1, 2027, with support available to selected Kindergarten and Year 1 children and their parents or carers.
As part of the program, all Stanmore parents and carers are invited to a free Emotion Coaching seminar on Tuesday 20 October, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the school. The session will share practical strategies for responding to children’s emotions, building resilience and encouraging positive behaviour.
We’re delighted to welcome the Got It! team to Stanmore and strengthen the support available to our students and families.
Our Parent Resource Hub offers practical tips and insights for families, bringing together helpful articles from across our school website.
