The 2026 Premier’s Reading Challenge has wrapped up at Stanmore Public School, with an impressive 462 students completing the challenge.
From Kindergarten through to Year 6, students have spent the year reading, discovering new stories and building their love of books. Congratulations to every student who took part and reached this achievement.
A special mention goes to our 39 Year 3 students who completed the challenge. Year 3 is often the trickiest year, as students begin reading the challenge books independently and logging their reading online.
Certificates will be presented later in November, giving students another opportunity to celebrate their achievement.
Term 4 Book Club - Stage 2 & 3
The love of reading will continue in Term 4 with new Book Clubs in the library. Stage 2 students can meet on Wednesdays at 1:15pm, while Stage 3 students will meet on Thursdays at 1:15pm. At the first meeting, students will bring along a favourite book to recommend and help plan the term’s reading activities.
Well done to all 462 students who made reading such a big part of their year!
