AFL Gala Day 2025

Today we took three teams from Stanmore to the AFL Gala Day at Tempe.
Our students represented the school with pride and their behaviour was impeccable throughout the day. It was wonderful to see the teamwork, sportsmanship and determination shown by every player.
Both of our boys teams performed extremely well, winning many of their round games. Although they were knocked out before reaching the semi finals, they demonstrated great skill and supported one another right to the end.
A special congratulations goes to our girls team who had an outstanding day. They finished in second place behind Petersham which is an excellent achievement.
Thank you to all staff and families who supported the teams. Our students should feel very proud of their efforts.
