Stanmore students are inviting to join the IWC summer reading challenge. It's the perfect way for kids aged 5-12 to fill sunny days with imagination, and discovery.

Make reading fun these school holidays.
Join the Summer Reading Challenge to help your child build a love of reading, earn colourful digital badges, and a chance to win prizes!
Reading together is a great way to boost literacy, enjoy quality time together, and keep kids engaged over the holidays.
The competition starts 17 November 2025 and ends 28 February 2026.
How it works:

Read 12 books

Write 2 short reviews. Children can share thoughts of the books they've read by leaving reviews.

Complete the challenge on Beanstack to enter the prize draw
- You must be a library member to take part.
Register at Beanstack to take part in the fun. (You will need your library membership number.) - Log your book on the Beanstack app to track progress.

Books that are logged earn vibrant digital badges and when you complete the challenge above, you go into the draw to win $50 Gleebooks vouchers in four age groups:
- 5-6 years
- 7-8 years
- 9-10 years
- 11-12 years
