Stanmore Senior Band wins GOLD at national festival

Stanmore Public School’s Senior Band won a Gold Award at this year's Australian School Band and Orchestra Festival.
Once again, our school has received recognition for musical excellence.
On Sunday 21 September, our Senior Band performed at the Australian School Band and Orchestra Festival (ASBOF) and were awarded a Gold Award, the highest honour possible.
The event, held at the Sir John Clancy Auditorium at UNSW, brings together school bands and orchestras from across Australia and beyond. More than 10,000 students take part in ASBOF events each year, making it one of the country’s most significant music education events.
We are incredibly proud of our Senior Band for their talent, dedication, and teamwork. Congratulations to all members on this outstanding achievement.
Congratulations also to our band coordinator, Ms Alex Bieri, for her inspiring leadership.
