Stanmore rock band to hit the stage at SpecFest

Our Rock Band has been chosen to perform at SpecFest during the Schools Spectacular - a huge achievement in their first year together.
We are proud to share some exciting news, our Stanmore Rock Band has been selected to perform at SpecFest, the outdoor performance space at the Schools Spectacular.
SpecFest is held outside the Qudos Bank Arena and gives students the chance to perform for thousands of people. Being included is a huge achievement, especially as our Rock Band was only formed less than a year ago.
The band is led by our wonderful volunteer, Mr John Benson, who gives his time and expertise to support many of our instrumental music programs. His guidance and the students’ hard work have led to this fantastic opportunity.
The exact performance date will be confirmed soon, but we couldn’t wait to celebrate this success with our school community. It’s another great example of the opportunities available in public education and the amazing talents of our students.
