Nicest Kids in Town

Our Stage 2 students' Dance Team entertained the school with their performance of ‘Nicest Kids in Town’ from the iconic musical Hairspray.
This year, under the guidance of Mrs. Thompson, 22 budding performers from Years 3 and 4 dedicated their lunchtimes to learning a dance routine to the awe-inspiring track ‘Nicest Kids in Town’ from the hit musical Hairspray. Throughout the year they have focused on mastering choreography, building their confidence, and honing their performance skills.
We would like to congratulate the team for their determination, resilience, and commitment and for giving 100% at each performance.
With this much talent on display, we can’t wait to see what the future holds for dance at Stanmore Public School. Stay tuned for more dance news in 2025.
Over the past few weeks their effort and hard work has paid off with the Dance Team showcasing their routine to the rest of the school, receiving applause and rave reviews. Proving, in the process, that they truly could be the “nicest kids in town.”
