Stanmore student performs well at the GWM Mountain Bike National Championships at Mount Buller, Victoria.
Stanmore Public School student Buddy Smith (5/6N) recently showcased his mountain biking skills on the national stage, competing in the GWM Mountain Bike National Championships at Mount Buller, Victoria. Representing Dulwich Hill Bicycle Club, Buddy took on the challenge in two highly competitive events; Cross-Country Olympic (XCO) and Cross-Country Short Track (XCC).
Over the course of two days, Buddy put in a strong performance, securing an impressive 8th place in both races.
This is a fantastic achievement, and we are very proud of Buddy's hard work, dedication, and sporting spirit.
