Live Outside the Box is a NSW Health initiative designed to help kids build healthy, active lifestyles.
This fun, interactive program runs for one week and is aimed at Stage 3 students (Years 5 and 6).
During the program, students are encouraged to:
Swap less healthy foods for nutritious alternatives
Get active every day
Take a break from TV, smart devices, and gaming consoles.
Parents and carers can support their child’s journey by downloading the Live Outside the Box activity card, where they can track daily meals and activities.
Building healthy habits at a young age is essential for lifelong well-being. Children learn best by example, so parents can join in too - choosing nutritious foods, staying active, and reducing screen time together. By making these positive changes as a family, kids are more likely to develop lasting, healthy habits that benefit them throughout their lives.
